Raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, a desolate stretch of country dotted with tiny farm towns, Annie left home at age 18 and set out to experience the people and places that would later populate her songs. Her eloquent and original observations delivered in her inimitable vocal style and with an actress’s flair for the dramatic have made her a beloved fixture on the national singer/songwriter circuit and a regular at Nashville ’s famous Bluebird Café. After winning the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award and travelling the country as a performer, Annie settled in Music City ,USA . Upon arriving in Nashville , she was quickly embraced by the city’s elite songwriter community and achieved the elusive distinction of becoming known as an artist whose albums the country stars “listen to on the bus”. Annie appears as a longtime member of the sassy Nashville-based group Girls With Guitars, and is featured regularly at events sponsored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, as well as at clubs and festivals in Nashville and beyond. Ultimately, when it comes to describing the captivating presence that is Annie Mosher, words fail… |
