Hi everybody, thanks for checking in.

What a cold go it has been in Nashvegas, rivaling even the northernmost climes of our nation... well, not really, but it's put us on the map. Makes you want to curl up with Lonesome Dove and a hot toddy.

Speaking of hot toddy, my husband is coming down the home stretch with the Martin Stationette. That, my sweets, is a car worth seeing. JW has been restoring this 3 wheeled wonder, made out of wood, yes, WOOD, and after a few years of hard work, it can be seen at the Lane Motor Museaum here in chilly downtown Nashville. Yes, the woodwork is phenomenal. Yes, JW is a master craftsman. Yes, me lucky. Come see the car after the first of March chez LMM.

I'll be doing a show at Douglas Corner next weekend, Feb 2, with my great friend and award winning songstress Cheley Tackett, the wild and deliciously dark Mark Stephen Jones, and the most gifted writer this side of anything-you-name-it, Davis Raines. These, my loves, are the writers' writers. I am blessed to play with them.

So go see the car, come see the show, go back to Lonesome Dove. Oh, Capt McCrae! Be still my beating heart.
